Last Saturday was a sizzling day for the Forever Better team. We invited six food bloggers to join us at the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham, taking part in the day’s cooking activities, including the live Invention Test with John and Gregg from MasterChef, a chocolate mousse masterclass with Matt Follas and a cookalong with Alex Rushmer and Tim Kinnaird.

At the end of the day, two bloggers of our team made it to the final three at the Invention Test and in the end all the finalists were declared winners.
Pippa from A Mother’s Ramblings, was victorious with her Lemon Cheesecake, says.
“I made it all by eye, so will have to make it again to work out the measurements for you but it tasted good. It wasn’t just me that said so. Gregg Wallace and John Torode liked it and couldn’t stop eating it!”

May from SlowFood Kitchen, another finalist, was a first-timer.
“I’d never entered a cooking contest before and I unthinkingly agreed to participate in the Masterchef Challenge Invention Test at the BBC Good Food Show thinking it would be fun do a bit of cooking with the Masterchef guys in a fabulously well equipped Miele kitchen.”
